Invisible film on bottom of vat

Today I learned.

Even when you drain and clean your vat thoroughly when changing resins, a small and super-thin layer of resin will form in the bottom after 20 prints or so. It was so transparent that it was impossible to see with the naked eye, but I forgot the vat full of IPA for a couple of hours today and saw this film shrinking and peeling out. So if you are having some random issues with prints, check that out

Was that resin actually cured to the film?

I know that the FEP film with become contaminated with a thin layer of resin, almost like oil. Using some IPA to get it nice and clean does help. This is part of the reason why you should not leave resin in the vat for long periods of time to allow the FEP to breathe.
